I called Hopkins to double check the wire gauge on the Hopkins Endurance 5-Way flat trailer connector, # HM47910, and # HM47900. I also pulled the wiring harnesses to see for myself which wire size the harness is constructed with.
Our technical representative at Hopkins checked their build data and said the wires for both harnesses are 16 gauge wires.
